Module Infinity Textile Design Studies HSLU

The requirement was to design patterns on the theme "Before me the sea".

I further defined the topic of plastic waste in and around the sea. In the designs I worked with scanned shells and waste and arranged them together. This resulted in both more striking and more abstract patterns. My main goal was to depict the situation as I see it in real life. When the viewer first sees the design or the beach/sea, they primarily see beautiful things like shells. Only when you look more closely can you see how much waste is hidden in it.
