Hello you!
My name is Nina Ronja Bundi and I have 23 years of life experience.
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by creativity and handicrafts. All of my bags were always filled with collectibles, some of which I transformed into small projects. But if you were to ask my family's perspective on this, they would say it was an extraordinarily chaotic collection of waste paper, fabric and stones. But my grandmother and my neighbor brought a little more structure to it and taught me the basics of knitting, crocheting and sewing.
I grew up with medicine at the dinner table and after my regular schooling I completed an apprenticeship as a podiatrist EFZ. I enjoyed the precise, fine-motor work, but I increasingly missed the creative element. That's why I started my own label and became more and more involved with various textile works.
After completing my vocational baccalaureate in the field of health and social work in Winterthur, I had already decided to study textile design. In order to gain even more experience in the design field, I first completed the preparatory course at the ZHDK and then applied to the HSLU. I have been studying textile design at the HSLU since September 2023.
I get inspiration from my everyday life and my travels. I move carefully through my environment and connect impressions from different areas of my life. I am guided by the attitude that I can learn almost anything with the right YouTube tutorial. This creates a colorful interplay of a falling apart van, DIY projects with duct tape and WD40, sometimes over-salted vegetarian recipes, desserts with relatively too much whipped cream, (expressive) dance and meditation.
